Available Roles:

• Welfare/Volunteer Management: Are you a compassionate individual with a knack for caring for others? In this role, you’ll oversee the welfare of participants and manage a team of volunteers to ensure everyone’s needs are met, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for all.
• Route Management: Calling all cyclists (though cycling enthusiasts are welcome, too)! As part of our route management team, you’ll play a crucial role in planning and overseeing event routes, ensuring they’re safe, challenging, and rewarding for participants.
• Registration Management: Do you have a keen eye for detail and excellent organisational skills? Join our registration management team, where you’ll handle participant registrations and provide top-notch customer service to ensure a smooth and efficient registration process from start to finish.
• Event Infrastructure: Are you a problem-solver with a knack for logistics? In this role, you’ll be responsible for the setup and maintenance of event infrastructure, including tents, signage, and equipment.

What We’re Looking For:

• Early Birds and Night Owls: Suited to early mornings and long hours, you’ll be the backbone of our event setup, rain or shine.
• Reliability and Hard Work: We need individuals who can be counted on, who bring their A-game every time.
• Customer Confidence: From engaging with participants to delegating tasks, you’re a natural when it comes to communication and leadership.
• Strength and Stamina: Occasionally, you’ll be called upon to lift heavy equipment, so physical fitness is encouraged.
• Adaptability: With ad-hoc schedules, not every weekend is the same. Flexibility and a can-do attitude are key. Availability for BCS events is crucial.
• Cool Under Pressure: In the fast-paced environment of events, you thrive, making quick decisions and keeping calm in the storm.
• Team Player: Collaboration is at our core. You’ll work hand-in-hand with colleagues to ensure smooth operations.
• Quick Thinking: Events can throw curveballs. We need individuals who can think on their feet and find solutions on the fly.
• Driving Skills: A valid driver’s license essential, as you may need to transport equipment to and from event locations.
