COWMAN TRIATHLON 2025

The Cowman, Calfman, and Stampede Triathlon and Aquabike events are coming back on Sunday 3rd August 2025 at Emberton Country Park.
NEW to 2025, we are excited to introduce the Calfman (standard) and Stampede (sprint) Aquathlons!
These events are suitable for athletes of all levels with various distances on offer.
BTF Race Pass
To participate in this event, you are required to become a member of British Triathlon and hold a race licence. You must either become a Core or Ultimate annual member HERE.
OR purchase a single use RACE PASS for your race.
NOTE: all non-BTF members of a relay team must purchase their own Race Pass.
As part of the terms and conditions of all multisport events governed by the BTF by purchasing an Race Pass you agree that your personal details will be shared with the BTF. If you are already affiliated with British Triathlon Federation you do not need to do anything before the event day.

Venue and Parking
The Cowman Triathlon & Aquabike will take place at Emberton Country Park, Olney Rd, Emberton, Olney MK46 5FJ.
There is ample parking within Emberton Park. As an athlete, you will be given free entry into the park, any spectators not travelling with you, will need to pay on arrival.

Race Packs
Race Packs will need to be collected from the registration tent based at Emberton Country Park. Race Packs can be collected at the following times:
Saturday 2nd August between 12:00 – 14:00
Sunday 3rd August from 06:00
FAQs
Your bike can only be racked on the day of the race. Transition will be open from 6am and will close at 08:45.
Requests to defer your entry in the Cowman Tri and Aquabike events will be accepted up to 30 days before the event. An entry that has been deferred may not be deferred again.
Yes, all athletes will enter the water a few minutes before the race begins and you will all begin together.
Cowman Distances 18+
Calfman Distances 17+
Stampede Distances 15+ (Parental consent required for 15 year olds as the cycle route takes place on open main roads).
Yes. 8 hours in the Cowman Distance or 3pm finish.
In the Cowman Swim Distance:
Wetsuits will be optional between 16°C – 24.6°C
In the Calfman and Stampede Swim Distances:
Wetsuits will be optional between 14°C – 22°C
Registration will close at 11:59pm on Wednesday 30th July 2024.
There will be no entries on the day.
No headphones/earphones of any kind are to be used during the race.
