All entries are subject to a small booking fee.

Age Restrictions: Participants must be aged 17 + for the Half Marathon. There is no age limit for the 10K however,  participants aged 14 or younger must run with an adult.

There is ample parking at Delamere Forest. The Race Hub is located near the main visitors centre.

If you're planning to arrive by train, Delamere railway station is conveniently located approximately 800 meters (half a mile) from the Linmere Visitor Centre in Delamere Forest.

Is there an event cut-off?

Yes, all runners need to have finished the race by 1:30PM.

We do not offer plastic cups at water stations. Please remember to bring your own cup or bottle on race day or alternatively, you can purchase your eco-friendly Wildwood Trail Series reusable cup. Water bowls will be available for those running with dogs. 

There is no bag drop. Please leave your bags in your vehicles.

No. The course is sign-posted and marshalled. There is also a lead cyclist for the first lap of the half marathon. 

You shouldn’t need to bring a navigation system or map, but it won’t hurt to look over the course map before the race

Racing with Your Four-Legged Friend? Here’s What You Need to Know!

The Half Marathon Canicross Race starts at 9:00 AM, and the 10K Canicross Race kicks off at 9:30 AM.

By entering, you’re agreeing to the following:

Dog Ownership & Responsibility

  • You must be the registered owner of your dog, as listed in their vaccination records or official documents.
  • Owners need liability insurance (or family insurance) to cover any damages their dog may cause.
  • Your dog must be cared for according to legal requirements.

🐾 Event Rules

  • Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times unless doing so would pose a risk to the dog, owner, or others.
  • Please clean up after your dog immediately and dispose of waste responsibly.
  • If your dog is anxious or nervous around people, we strongly advise against entering to avoid unnecessary stress. A pre-race vet check is also recommended.
  • If a vet or the Race Director deems your dog unfit to race, they must be withdrawn from the event.

🐾 Eligibility

  • Dogs must be at least 12 months old on race day to take part.
  • If your dog is in season, please inform the Race Director before the race begins.
  • Pregnant or nursing dogs are not allowed to compete.

To ensure a safe and enjoyable race, all participants must use the correct Canicross gear:
✔️ A Canicross waist belt
✔️ A bungee line with built-in shock absorption
✔️ A well-fitted harness for your dog

Running hands-free is essential for safety and comfort. If you don’t have the right equipment, you won’t be allowed to race.
