This extended version of the original Cattle Creep 10K challenges runners with a stunning riverside route and features the iconic Cattle Creep tunnel – a low, narrow passage under the Grand Union Canal that adds a fun and quirky twist to the course. Whether you’re building distance, chasing a new personal best, or simply running for the joy of it, this event promises a memorable experience.
Perfect for runners of all abilities, the Cattle Creep 10-Miler is also dog-friendly, so your four-legged running buddy can join in the fun too!

Cattle Creep… A Little Further is a unique 10-mile race in Milton Keynes that takes runners on a scenic adventure through the lush parkland and riverside paths of North Milton Keynes. Building on the popular Cattle Creep 10K, this extended version offers even more beauty, challenge, and character – including a dash through the iconic Cattle Creep tunnel beneath the Grand Union Canal.
Whether you’re stepping up your distance, training for a half marathon, or just want a memorable race-day experience, this event is the perfect blend of countryside charm and local heritage.
WHAT MAKES THIS 10-MILER RACE SPECIAL?
Scenic Parkland Trails – Take in the peaceful, green landscapes of Milton Keynes’ linear parks as you run along winding riverside paths and woodland tracks.
The Famous Cattle Creep Tunnel – Run through the event’s namesake – a dark, narrow, and slightly quirky tunnel that adds a distinctive twist to the course.

PARKING
There is ample on-street parking on Colts Holm Rd and the surrounding areas. Please do not block gates when parking.
EVENT INFORMATION
Race packs will need to be collected on the day from the registration tent at the venue. Registration will be open from 8am.
The race will start at 9am and has a cut-off of 3.5hrs (12:30).
About a week before the event an Athlete Guide will be emailed to you with all the event info you will need. It will also contain a written race briefing.
Any last-minute briefings will be given to you on the day.

The Cattle Creep… A Little Further finish line is waiting, with the evening sun on your back and adrenaline in your veins. Every twist of the trail, every step through the iconic tunnel brings you closer to that moment of triumph. This isn’t just another 10K, it’s a run with character, with stories, with soul.
10 Miles of Creeping...
This 10 Miler is a unique and picturesque 1-lap running event set along the scenic banks of the River Ouse.
Offering a flat and fast course, this race provides an opportunity to experience the serene Milton Keynes countryside.
Ideal for both seasoned runners, those new to longer distances and our 4-legged friends, the route meanders through tranquil riverside paths and includes the charming challenge of crossing the “Cattle Creep”—a narrow bridge beneath the Grand Union Canal.

- There are some steps down to the cattle creep tunnel
