Following the sell out success of our Winter Moors Valley Wildwood Trail events, we’re excited to introduce a brand new midweek summer evening Moors Valley Wildwood Trail Series 10K.
This exciting new race offers a standout option for runners looking for a 10K run in Bournemouth, combining the thrill of trail running with the natural beauty of one of Dorset’s most loved woodland locations. Set within Moors Valley Country Park, this event provides a refreshing alternative to a traditional road race.
The Moors Valley 10K course winds through stunning forest trails and scenic pathways, delivering a mix of runnable sections and natural terrain. Expect gently rolling trails, shaded woodland paths, and immersive scenery as the forest comes alive on a summer evening.
Whether you’re tackling your first trail race or looking for a memorable 10K race in Bournemouth, this event is ideal for runners of all abilities. The relaxed midweek format makes it perfect for post-work racing, while still offering a rewarding challenge for experienced runners.

- Waste Reduction: We do not offer plastic cups at water stations. Please remember to bring your own cup or bottle on race day or alternatively, you can purchase your eco-friendly Wildwood Trail Series reusable cup.
- Eco-Friendly Transport: We encourage carpooling, public transport, and cycling.
- Wildlife Protection: We’ve taken steps to ensure that no wildlife habitats are disturbed, aligning our event with ongoing conservation efforts.

Can I run with a buggy?
Unfortunately you cannot take part in the Wildwood Trail Series with a push-buggy.
Can I run with my dog?
Yes! Please enter the Canicross event during registration.
Do I need to register at 5pm?
Registration will be open from 5pm until the race starts.
Feel free to arrive anytime after 5pm to collect your race pack.
How old do I need to be to take part?
There is no age limit for the 10K however, participants aged 14 or younger must run with an adult.
