The Formula 5 Duathlon will be taking place this year on Sunday 25th April 2021.
This event takes its name from the number of legs in the race … 5! This will see you run, bike, run, bike and then run again over short distances to keep the pace and heart rate high! The run course will take you around our tried and tested 5km Emberton Country Park run route while the cycle sections will use our ‘Stampede’ cycle route, which heads into the outskirts of Northamptonshire.
The entry fee for non-affiliated athletes includes £6 to cover the British Triathlon Day Membership. Please note, if you have registered for the race using a BTF membership number you MUST present your membership card at registration or you will be required to pay £6 for a day Licence.
For more information on the event format, take a look at the Athlete Information Pack here.
Registration opens: 8am
Athletes will be set off in small waves beginning at 9am.

All prizes will be posted out after the event.
Due to COVID-19 we will be starting athletes one at a time. Each discipline will be in a time-trial format. When you register you will have the option of choosing a start wave.
Of course, our wish is to host an event as close to our traditional Formula 5 Duathlon as possible, so if by the event, social distancing is no longer a necessity and our event permit allows, we will have a mass start and a non-time-trial format once more.
We ask that athletes wear the appropriate face coverings when collecting their race packs from registration and respect social distance guidelines when around the venue.
If you begin to feel unwell leading up to the event or have any symptoms of COVID-19 we ask that you forfeit your place and do not attend. If the place you live in is put into tight restrictions inclusive of travel restrictions, we ask that you abide by government guidelines and do not attend the event.
Both courses are ANTI-CLOCKWISE. Each run lap is 5km and each bike lap is 20km.
